Liu Yongfu, member of the Standing Committee of Gansu Provincial Party Committee and vice governor of Gansu Province, accepted group interview with Chinese and foreign reporters on Special Tourism Development of Gansu at the 2008 Beijing International Press Center on August 18.

During the interview, Liu briefed reporters the well-known Dunhuang culture. He also mentioned that the world appreciated the beauty of the Silk Road, Fly Goddess and Dunhuang of Gansu at the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympic Games. He focused on introducing them Gansu’s major 4 tourist routes, that is the Silk Road tour, the Yellow Riverside tour, tours to enjoy Gannan Grassland scenery and folk customs, and red interest tour. At the same time, he sincerely invited officials of the International Olympic Committee and of the sports delegations, as well as all the athletes attending the Beijing Olympic Games to visit Gansu.

After the interview, Liu Yongfu accepted an exclusive interview with Chilean television on establishing sister city relations between Gansu and Chile.
